Walking the streets of Mexico, futilely searching for lost loved ones, these Central American mothers hold a pain that has no remedy. With desolation evident in their eyes and devastation present in their posture, this caravan of mothers sets out in search of their missing migrant children each year. Each child had their own story and reason for leaving home, and now, large photos of them hang around the necks of women as they shuffle from person to person with the aching question: “Have you seen them?”
